Empowerment of Community Groups (POKMAS) in Food Security Program in Fruit Tourism

The purpose of this research is to find out how to empower a community group (POKMAS) on food safety program in fruit tourism. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the survey and interview with Mr. Abdul Majid as the leader of the community group (POKMAS) revealed that the main authority is the village head as responsible. So the authority back to the government, the community group (POKMAS) is just the one in the field as a form of legitimacy that the execution has been handed over to the community. (POKMAS). The conclusion is that of the six indicators used using the ACTORS indicators, one of them is the Authority (Weautorang) has gone well in organizing, implementing management and coordinating the course of the food security program.
