Introduction:Patient is under a mechanical ventilator is also the secretion interferes with the ventilation and increase airway resistant occurs.Due to some respiratory disorders like asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, and bronchiectasis which cause excessive mucus production, it affects the ventilation-perfusion and it results in hypoxemia. The goal of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of hypertonic saline nebulized suctioning on bio physiological pulmonary parameters (Heart rate, Spo2, PH, Pco2, Po2, Hco3) among patient with a mechanical ventilator.Materials and Methods: 30 ventilated samples were selected from Subharti hospital, Meerut using a Quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design and non-probability per passive sampling technique.Data was collected using biophysiological permanent parameters.Data was analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results:The result of this study showed that the difference of experimental group mean value of heart rate (pretest: 114.73; posttest: 108.6);SpO2 (pretest: 93; posttest: 97.93); posttest: 7.35); ABG-PCO2 pretest:42.18;posttest:41.28);posttest: 22.35).The comparison of data between the study and the control groups explained that the mean SpO2andABG-PO2 were high in the study group mean SpO2 [study group: 97.93 (SD= 1.33) and control group: 95.4 (SD= 2.58)]; mean (SD=18.35)and control group: 73.05 (SD=52.71)]. Conclusions:The study concludes that the ventilator patients having improved bio-physiological pulmonary parameters after the intervention i.e. hypertonic saline. So in this study intervention (hypertonic saline nebulized suctioning) was found to be an effective method to improve the airway.
