From home products to industrial firms, ICT impacts everything. Cloud, Fog, IoT, AI, and Block-chain technologies collect massive amounts of data in business, education, health, and home appliances. At least 75 billion devices will process 175 ZB in 2025. 5G will generate big data, speeding up network transfers and allowing live HD video uploads. By impersonating humans on the network, self-driving vehicles and other AI gadgets will create vast data. Heterogeneous data storage and management are tough due to rapid transformation and enormous data flow. This article discusses heterogeneous massive data storage, security, management, and cloud storage's future. Details of these issues suggest new cloud storage research dynamics.
