The advancement in modern science and technology is a boon for our society. It eased most of the complicated and mechanised work at a global level. However, this also has created global issues related to cybercrimes, striving for the search for a solution. The present paper emphasizes implementing an advanced technology, "Blockchain", to enhance security and impede information leakage. The study is designed to put forth a proposal for using blockchain technology for pharmacovigilance practices – an emerging field that promotes awareness regarding Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs), connecting the general public with hospital and government authorities.
