Companies in the logistics industry are always looking for new ways to improve responsiveness and productivity. The use of drones in logistics operations is one such breakthrough. However, overcoming possible challenges successfully is essential for the effective deployment of drones in the logistics industry. This study uses Fuzzy Delphi method (FDM) and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) to identify and rank barriers to drone logistics adoption Preliminary expert research and extensive literature review reveals 34 barriers. FDM is then used to improve and select the most important constraints. Finally, AHP is used to set these constraints as needed. The results show that the biggest barriers to the adoption of drones in the logistics sector are legal and privacy and security issues. Other major obstacles include public opinion and psychology, the environment, technological challenges, and economic constraints. The conclusion of the study discusses the business implications of these results and provides guidance for management and decision makers on how drones can be successfully integrated into the logistics sector
