The proposed model improves electromagnetic calculations in superconducting systems, highlighting end effects and bogie attitudes.
Fourier series methods provide an effective theoretical framework for analyzing harmonic characteristics and their impact in superconducting EDS systems. However, existing electromagnetic models based on this approach often employ simplified equivalents for the three-dimensional coil structure, neglecting end effects and failing to solve electromagnetic field distributions under multiple operational attitudes, limiting their practical engineering applicability. This paper proposes an accurate and computationally efficient discretized spatial Fourier model. The developed model explicitly incorporates the precise physical coil geometry, end effects, and multi-attitude motion of the levitation bogie. The validity of the analytical model was rigorously verified through FEM simulations and experimental measurements. Building upon this, the influence of bogie attitude variations on NFCs was investigated. A comparative analysis between the proposed model and traditional models elucidates the sources of computational error. Furthermore, the position-dependent load characteristics of the SC coils induced by end effects were analyzed. The developed model provides a method with enhanced accuracy for electromagnetic calculations in EDS systems and serves as a valuable tool for system design and dynamic analysis.
