Systematic review explores AI applications and challenges in hospitality, highlighting ethical regulation and outcomes.
This study provides a systematic review of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in the hospitality industry and proposes a framework that addresses AI’s transformative potential. By identifying five key dimensions—design, application, outcome, fault recovery, and ethical regulation—this study offers different insights into mitigating AI failures and aligning AI adoption with ethical standards. Our framework bridges gaps in prior literature by integrating technical, operational, and ethical perspectives, providing actionable guidance for both researchers and practitioners.
