Background: The issue of interlingual Polish-Ukrainian homonymy has already been thoroughly developed in Ukrainian Polish studies, for example by M. Bednaj (1999) and B. Shcherbyna (2023). At one time, we also addressed the problem of teaching interlingual Polish-Ukrainian homonymy (Sydiachenko, 2010, p. 503–512) at the А1 level. This article is a continuation of the previous interest in this issue. Purpose: The material of the article was the homonymous lexemes recorded in the textbook “Step by step. Polish. Level 2” by Yvonne Stempek and Anna Stelmach. Our goal is not to multiply or deepen existing classifications of interlingual Polish-Ukrainian lexical homonyms. Based on already developed classifications, in particular, by parts of speech, by etymological principle (homogeneous, heterogeneous homonyms), attention is paid to the methodology and techniques of teaching the problem of interlingual homonymy to students within the framework of a practical course of the Polish language at the A2-B1 level. Results: Students should pay special attention to those lexemes that are interlingual homonyms in only of one of their meanings. At the level of education A1-B2, already acquired knowledge of polysemy and polysemes should also be consolidated in the practical course of the Polish language through special exercises on the etymology of newly learned words, analysis of their modern semantic structure and comparison with the meanings of lexemes similar in form in Ukrainian language.
