Key Points

  • The study finds the phase structure of two-color QCD, indicating varying condensate behavior with chemical potential.
  • Chiral and diquark condensates as well as quark number densities were quantitatively analyzed using tensor renormalization group techniques.
  • Comparison with mean field approximations revealed critical distinctions in critical exponents related to diquark condensation.
  • The findings support a compelling narrative on phase transition dynamics in strongly coupled quark systems.

Abstract

We investigate the phase structure of the (3+1)-dimensional strong coupling two-color QCD at zero temperature with finite chemical potential using the tensor renormalization group method. The chiral and diquark condensates and the quark number density are evaluated as a function of the chemical potential. Our results are compared with the previous analytical results using the mean field approximation. The critical exponents associated with the diquark condensation are also discussed.
