This study presents the analysis and interpretation of data on the level of awareness of school GAD focal persons from the Schools Division Offices (SDOs) of Parañaque City, Muntinlupa City, and Las Piñas City regarding the characteristics of gender sensitivity. It employed a descriptive research design and a structured questionnaire to collect data from 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using statistical tools such as mean, ANOVA, and Spearman rho correlation. The findings revealed that the respondents demonstrated a moderate to high level of awareness, with an overall mean of 3.48. The highest-rated characteristics were Acknowledging Gender Equality (3.60) and Education and Advocacy (3.59), indicating a strong recognition of inclusivity and sustained awareness of gender-related issues. However, Challenging Gender-Based Violence and Discrimination received the lowest rating (3.17), suggesting a further need for improvement. Results of the ANOVA and correlation tests showed no significant difference or relationship between the level of awareness and demographic factors, implying that awareness is consistent across all divisions. Overall, the study concludes that while GAD initiatives are effective, continuous education, advocacy, and integration of gender sensitivity concepts in lesson planning remain essential to sustain and strengthen gender equality awareness and practice among teachers.
