Electrosynthesis shows improved current efficiency in silver nanostructures, highlighting the role of temperature and morphology.
Dendritic silver nanostructures (DSNs) have attracted significant interest due to their unique hierarchical architecture. This work presents a facile ultrasonic‐assisted electrodeposition method for DSNs synthesis using tartaric acid as a morphology‐directing agent. Systematic investigations reveal that ultrasonic irradiation simultaneously refines silver crystallite size and enhances current efficiency from 36.89% to 97.27%. The dendritic morphology is controlled through tartaric acid's facet‐specific adsorption, while Ag⁺ concentration, current density, and temperature collectively regulate the nucleation‐growth kinetics. Under optimized conditions, this method produces uniform DSNs through a simple and scalable process, demonstrating significant potential for high‐quality dendritic silver powder production.
