Synthesis reveals porous structures in 4- and 5-aminotriazolamers from amino acids, indicating potential applications in material science.
Nonpeptidic foldamers derived from amino acids, i.e. 4- and 5-aminotriazolamers, were synthesized via the assembly of three amino acid-derived modules, which was achieved through the copper-catalyzed ethynylation with triisopropylsilyl ethynylbenziodoxolone and copper- or ruthenium-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloadditions. The X-ray crystallographic analysis of cyclic 4- and 5-aminotriazolamers revealed their porous structure.
