Comprehensive analysis reports improved profit margins and effective pricing strategies in managing inventory with sensitivity analysis.
In today’s highly competitive landscape, organizations face significant challenges in maintaining consistent growth and success. profit margins often decline due to various deterioration effects, posing a substantial challenge for industrialists. investing in preservative technology can help mitigate these losses by enhancing the shelf life of products. in a competitive market environment, it is also vital for retailers to focus on increasing profit per unit. this study proposes a non-linear approach that considers price, time, and advertising strategies in conjunction with investments in preservative technology to boost additional profit per unit. the proposed inventory model determines an optimal profit of $110.423 per unit when advertising and preservative investments are applied effectively. Furthermore, it provides retailers with the tools to make informed decisions regarding optimal replenishment timing, pricing strategies, and effective advertising, all while considering the impact of preserving investments. Furthermore, the study analyzes three alternative cases to evaluate the model’s performance under various demand scenarios. a sensitivity analysis is included to manage risks associated with fluctuations in demand variables. Overall, this research aims to support customers, retailers, suppliers, and industrialists by offering various decision-making strategies to ensure the availability of fresh-packed products and maximize additional profit per unit.
