Bimetallic photocatalyst shows 13.6 mmol/g/h CO generation in CO2 photoreduction, indicating high selectivity at 98.7%.
By employing an orthogonal site-encoding strategy, we developed a bimetallic TZCOF photocatalyst with distinct intralayer CoNOCl 2 and interlayer NiN 2 Cl 2 sites, achieving a CO generation rate of 13.6 mmol g −1 h −1 and 98.7% selectivity.
