Analysis reveals differences in nitrogen isotopic composition in Devonian oils, indicating factors influencing 15N levels in deposits.
The isotopic composition data on oils from 16 deposits in 7 Jurassic and Devonian productive strata are given. Based on this parameter differences between these strata are distinguished. The influence of a number of factors affecting δ15N of oils is discussed.
