Solvent-assisted cyclization produces triaryl pyrazole derivatives in high yield, suggesting a versatile method in organic synthesis.
Solvent‐assisted ring opening and subsequent cyclization of chalcone epoxides with hydrazine derivatives is reported under mild reaction conditions. Various 1,3,5‐triaryl‐1 H ‐pyrazole derivatives were synthesized in good to excellent product yields with functional groups tolerance. The reaction was also performed for the gram scale transformation in excellent product yield (84%). The structure was confirmed by 1 H & 13 CNMR, IR, HRMS, and SC‐XRD analysis.
