Population-based cohort study reveals a rise in chronic conditions during pregnancy, indicating mental health is a growing concern.
( BJOG . 2025;132:53-54. doi: 10.1111/1471-0528.17959) Chronic conditions are becoming increasingly common in the general population, and with this comes necessary consideration in subpopulations such as the obstetric population. This article is a mini commentary surrounding the results of this study and implications for obstetric practice as a result.
