Review assesses clinical effectiveness of high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy for asthma exacerbations in children and adults, suggesting important safety considerations.
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the clinical effectiveness and safety of high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy compared with conventional oxygen therapy for the management of asthma exacerbations in children and adults.
