This framework reveals primes and modular forms emerge from a shared substrate, suggesting new insights into q-series and their relationships.
AbstractThis paper proposes that primes, partitions, modular forms, mock theta functions, and Ramanujan’s intuitive discoveries arise from a single generative substrate defined by SO(2) phase variables θ_n, harmonic coherence PAS_h, and drift ΔPAS_zeta. Using the structured resonance framework (CODES), these mathematical domains are reinterpreted as deterministic projections of a unified phase-based invariant rather than independent analytic constructions. Primes appear as chirality-locked anchor points, partitions as resonance projections, modular forms as the drift-free limit of the substrate, and mock theta functions as high-coherence drift deviations. Ramanujan’s intuition is framed as biological sensitivity to the same invariants. The result is a substrate-level unification of classical number theory, q-series, and modular phenomena, providing a generative explanation for structures traditionally regarded as unrelated. The framework yields explicit testable predictions for new partition congruences, new Ramanujan-type identities, mock-theta drift signatures, prime-gap structure, and cognitive resonance correlates. This establishes a deterministic foundation for mathematical emergence and connects it directly to the engineered substrate implemented in RIC (Resonance Intelligence Core).
