Abstract WKS 35: Increased equity in migrant SRHR through co-design of health interventions and services – lessons learned from researchers in the ANSER ‘migrant working group, B305 (FCSH), September 5, 2025, 11:30 - 12:30 Rationales and Purpose Migrant populations often experience worse sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) as compared to the majority population and face challenges in access to health services. Despite this, they are often excluded from research due to language and other barriers, leading to biased and inequitable healthcare. Using co-design processes and involving target groups can make services more acceptable and culturally appropriate. The purpose of this workshop is to share and discuss learnings from SRHR projects that applied a co-design methodology. Process of Workshop Representatives from the Academic Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Policy (ANSER), will showcase and discuss co-design methods in migrant SRHR research. Projected Learning Outcomes By sharing experiences and discuss lessons learned, this workshop will provide a better understanding of how to engage with migrant populations in research using co-design in SRHR research. Hence it will equip participants with tools on how to increase equity in migrant SRHR.
