Intramolecular transamidation enables one-pot synthesis of three chiral, Z-shaped perilenediimides for null-type supramolecular polymer formation

We report herein the synthesis of three Z-shaped PDIs that form null-type supramolecular polymers. These three isomers are formed via intramolecular transamidation. The stability and kinetics of these aggregates depend on the position of the stereocenter.
