Observational study finds perceived stress influences learning in non-Hispanic White and Hispanic/Latino individuals, indicating a role of cardiometabolic risk.

Cardiometabolic risk accounted for some of the association between perceived stress and paired associates learning performance. Further investigation is needed to better understand the complex mechanisms underlying stress-cognition associations among ethnically diverse samples.
