Population

66 patients with upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) and 48 healthy individuals. Key inclusion: fever (≥37.5℃) or respiratory symptoms in the last three days. Key exclusion: treated with interferon, oral corticosteroids, methotrexate, cyclosporine, anti-metabolite, anti-viral agents, biotin prescription within 24 hours, severe trauma, burns, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular infarction, or vaccination within 30 days.
