Abstract

This research paper presents a Smart Tourist Safety Monitoring and Incident Response System integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Geo-Fencing, and Blockchain-based Digital Identity to enhance tourist security. The proposed system continuously tracks tourist movements using GPS and applies geo-fencing rules to detect restricted-zone entry and boundary violations. An AI-based anomaly detection module identifies suspicious or unsafe behavioral patterns such as unusual route deviation and prolonged inactivity. During emergencies, the system generates real-time alerts and shares verified identity and location information with authorities through an incident response dashboard. Additionally, blockchain ensures secure and tamper-proof digital identity verification, reducing fraud and improving trust in emergency handling. The framework provides a scalable and reliable approach aligned with Smart City and Digital India initiatives.
