abstract: Opening up the subsequent discussion, the article provides a brief summary of the key points in Schmidt-Leukel’s The Celestial Web . It explains the usefulness of fractal analysis in comparative work, discusses various approaches to explain the existence of fractal patterns in religious diversity, and invites to reconsider the value of structuralism for interreligious comparison.
