To evaluate the clinical outcomes of arthroscopic cyst decompression combined with labral repair in patients with spinoglenoid cysts, with emphasis on symptom relief and functional recovery. A retrospective analysis was performed on 6 patients who underwent arthroscopic decompression and labral repair for spinoglenoid cysts between August 2022 and February 2024. Preoperative and postoperative pain (VAS score), shoulder function (Constant-Murley score), and imaging findings were compared. At a mean follow-up of 24 months(range, 12–36 months), the VAS score improved significantly from 8.17 ± 1.17 preoperatively to 1.5 ± 1.05 postoperatively ( P < 0.05). The Constant-Murley score also showed significant improvement, increasing from 62.50 ± 5.36 to 96.00 ± 2.83 ( P < 0.05). MRI confirmed complete cyst resolution in 5 patients and significant reduction in 1 patient, with no recurrence observed. This preliminary study suggests that arthroscopic decompression combined with labral repair may be a viable option for treating spinoglenoid cysts. In our small cohort, the procedure was well-tolerated and was associated with improved shoulder function in the early postoperative period. These initial findings warrant further validation in larger, controlled studies.
