A mathematical model relates applied loads to material stretches, indicating new insights into hyper-elastic materials.
The aim of this paper is to represent in a mathematical way the relation between the applied loads and the stretches on the hyper-elastic materials by using the mass conservation principle (MCP). The modeling goes through the main typical stretches for the Mooney-Rivlin : uniaxial, biaxial and pure shear stress. The mass conservation principle allows to obtain the same result as presented in the literature that instead of the MCP method involves the polynomial hyper elastic model. The Mooney-Rivlin model is obtained by implementing the experimental setup to extract data from a software in order to calculate specific coefficient of the polynomial. The model presented in this paper is generated by simply assumptions without the use of any external device to perform experiments and strong computational analysis.
