Abstract

Addressing the persistent challenge of hexavalent chromium (Cr( vi )) pollution, this study introduces a sustainable extraction strategy using a novel hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent (HDES) composed of acetic acid and tetraoctylammonium bromide.
