Key Points

  • The aim is to investigate structural, optical, dielectric, and biological properties of new hybrid metal halides.
  • Investigated three hybrid compounds containing bismuth and antimony.
  • Analyzed optical, dielectric, and antibiological activities to draw comparisons.
  • Established correlations between structure and function.
  • Identified distinct optical and dielectric properties among the compounds.
  • Demonstrated varied antibiological activities, suggesting potential uses in biomedical applications.

Abstract

Three new hybrid halometallates, (C 8 H 14 N 2 ) 2 Bi 2 Br 10 ·2H 2 O (M4), (C 8 H 14 N 2 ) 3 BiCl 6 2 (M43), and (C 8 H 14 N 2 )SbCl 5 (M41), have been comparatively investigated to establish comprehensive structure–property–function correlations.
