This article investigates internal degrees of freedom in spacetime, suggesting new insights in physics.
This article explores the hypothesis of the application of internal degrees of freedom, whichis a concept applicable in various fields of physics, in the context of a theoretically applicableunderstanding related to General Relativity, which is a solid and empirically verified basis forcurrently understanding spacetime. This analysis is attempted from the perspective of fielddynamics in physics and ontological concepts, preserving general covariance, the conservationof the energy-momentum tensor, and local Lorentz invariance, recovering classical GeneralRelativity as a rigid limit of the theory. Finally, the conceptual and cosmological implicationsof this approach, and its possible observational consequences, are discussed.
