Observations reveal capillary-screened hydrocarbon deposits caused by permafrost in the Gubkinskii region, indicating geological implications.
One type of the capillary-screened oil and gas deposits is studied. The deposits were resulted from the destruction of anticlinal paleotraps with simultaneous cooling of oil- and gas-bearing reservoirs due to permafrost. This type of deposits has locally been forecasted in the Gubkinskii region.
