New data reveal the geology and composition of alkaline intrusions in the Aldan Shield, suggesting historical connections and petrological similarities.
New data are given on geology, age, and composition of intrusions and dike rocks. Highlighted are K-rich agpaitic intrusions which are similar in petrology and geochemistry to the rocks of lamproitic series, i.e., the Maly-Murun intrusive, rocks of its dike facies and the lamproites themselves which supposedly represented by wolgidite and analogues of oriendites and fitzroyites. The Maly-Murun Massif, dike facies rocks and alkaline lamprophyres (diopside-phlogopite minettes) and lamproites are closly related in geologic setting and age. The Bolshoi-Murun and Dagaldyn massifs, adjacent sills and dikes of alkaline rocks are represented by feldspathoid and alkaline syenites of the miaskite type.
