This document reports the raw data generated within the EU H2020 NanoHarmony project (Grant Agreement, GA) relating to uptake and translocation experiments of digested nanomaterials (NMs) using a simulated digestion of metal oxides (namely ZnO, TiO₂ and SiO₂) in an in vitro model of intestinal barrier. With regard to the barrier model, a tri-culture system consisting of Caco-2/HT29 and Raji B cells was used. The document also includes data on the effects of the digests NMs on Caco-2 monocultures, as well as their cytotoxicity data. The experiments were conducted in two different laboratories: the Italian Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità, ISS) and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)
Vincentini et al. (Thu,) studied this question.
