Systematic review reports disease control benefits of CDK4/6 inhibitors in HR+/HER2+ breast cancer, suggesting the need for more trials.
Across available clinical trials, CDK4/6 inhibitor-based combination therapy was associated with disease control in a subset of patients with metastatic HR+/HER2+ breast cancer. Given the heterogeneity of study designs and limited comparative data, these findings should be interpreted cautiously and support the need for further randomized trials to better define optimal treatment strategies and patient selection.
