A monarchy, for an ancient and deeply rooted nation such as Iran, is not a nostalgic preference but a rational, meaningful, and historically grounded option. Monarchy constitutes an inseparable part of Iran’s civilizationalidentity—an institutional form that, over centuries, has been interwoven with the country’s political culture, national symbols, and historical continuity. By contrast, the republican model—particularly as experienced inmodern Iran—has failed to harmonize with this deep historical fabric, resulting in a rupture of collectivememory and a weakening of civilizational continuity.
