This OSF project provides open access to the Accepted Author Manuscript (AAM) of the research article “Hypnosis as a Tool for Theatrical Performance”, which investigates whether hypnosis facilitates role immersion and character embodiment in professional actors. In this study, 32 actors (16 male, 16 female) performed two distinct roles under hypnotic and non-hypnotic conditions, and hypnotizability was assessed using the Elkins Hypnotizability Scale (EHS). Participants provided post-performance ratings regarding role absorption, character engagement, and subjective quality of performance. This repository is shared to support transparency, reproducibility, and long-term accessibility. The document available here is the Accepted Author Manuscript (AAM) and is not the final published Version of Record.
