Abstract: Elite athletic achievement requires specific psychological traits including competitive drive, discipline, and resilience. This study investigates whether measurable patterns exist in the psychological configurations of verified elite athletes. We analyzed birth data from 530 elite athletes with Rodden AA-rated birth times (birth certificate verified) from the Astro-Databank collection. Using whole sign house calculations, tropical zodiac, and full traditional rulership, we examined distributions of ascending signs and planetary rulerships of the 6th house (discipline/resilience). Key Results: Ascending sign distribution showed highly significant deviation (χ² = 57.64, df = 11, p < 0.001) Leo and Sagittarius ascendants significantly over-represented (Z = +3.43 and Z = +3.27) Saturn significantly over-represented as 6th house ruler (Z = +3.81, p < 0.001) Jupiter moderately over-represented as 6th house ruler (Z = +2.29, p < 0.05) Sun, Moon, and Mercury significantly under-represented as 6th house rulers 6th house ruler in 3rd house occurred 41% more frequently than expected (Z = +2.80, p < 0.01) Conclusion: Elite athletes demonstrate statistically significant configurations around psychological domains of discipline, will, and competitive drive. Saturn and Jupiter as 6th house rulers show positive association with elite athletic achievement, while Sun, Moon, and Mercury show significant negative association—suggesting elite discipline is driven by structure and expansion rather than ego, emotion, or intellect.
