The compounds Pb 9 O 2 I 8 (CN 2 ) 3 and Pb 16 O 5 I 14 (CN 2 ) 4 were synthesized via solid‐state methods and structurally characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Both materials feature heterocubane units interconnected through iodide and carbodiimide ligands. Optical measurements reveal indirect bandgaps of 2.35 eV and 2.36 eV, respectively. Photoluminescence spectra at 80 K show a broad green emission centered at 520 nm. The results demonstrate the structural and optical potential of heteroanionic Pb‐based carbodiimide frameworks.
