This work investigates structure visibility in graphs, suggesting constraints reveal primordial gradients.
This work investigates the conditions under which structure becomes visible notthrough construction, but through the exhaustion of alternatives. Taking the Erdos-Gyárfás conjecture for cubic vertex-transitive graphs as a case study, we show that the14 extremal graphs (PV(b)/(c) truncations) are not anomalies but Reinformen - pureforms where maximal constraint leaves only one possible closure. We propose thatProto-∇ (the primordial gradient, Differenz unter Kontinuität ) does not emerge fromprior conditions but is uncovered when constraint-saturation eliminates all alternatives. The polyphonic method - holding multiple independent analytical perspectivesin tension until convergence - serves as both methodology and evidence: when fiveAI systems converge on the same structure without coordination, the invariance isnot consensus but geometric necessity. We articulate this as an apophatic approachto mathematical ontology: Proto-∇ is what remains when everything that is notProto-∇ has been removed.
