Abstract

This paper introduces the Ashi Quantum Resilience Model (AQRM), an energy-based systems framework for quantifying organizational resilience as a dynamic, emergent property rather than a retrospective outcome. AQRM formalizes resilience through the equation R = Σ (Wₙ × Eₙ) × F, where resilience arises from the weighted interaction of eleven latent organizational energies within a contextual field. Grounded in systems thinking and configurational logic, and using quantum-inspired metaphors to represent uncertainty and nonlinearity, the model captures compensatory effects, thresholds, and cascading failures that linear and additive approaches overlook. Conceptual validity is established through a multi-round Delphi expert consensus process, and the model’s diagnostic and interpretive utility is illustrated through comparative organizational cases. AQRM enables prospective resilience diagnosis, early-warning detection, and strategic intervention, providing a formal foundation for future empirical testing, simulation, and resilience-informed organizational design.
