This article explores the Metaverse as a superior training model, enhancing corporate education through immersive experiences.
Metaverse can be a successful business model for corporate and business management. Traditional corporate training suffers from a forgetting curve. The Metaverse “Training-as-a-Service” (TaaS) Business Model tackles this problem with high-retention immersion. The potential of ‘Metaverse as a business model’ in Learning and Development (L&D) is the shift from “Learning by Watching” to “Learning by Living.” According to PwC, VR learners complete training 4x faster and 275% better at applying skills than classroom learners. For a business model, this represents a transition from selling content to selling environments and outcomes. The most sophisticated part of this business model is the Neuroadaptive Data Layer. It offers biological and behavioral insights, which make the ‘Metaverse Business model’ a premium product. By using Digital Twins, Smart NPCs, and engineered technology, the article explains how Metaverse Learning and Training can be a multi-million dollar business model. I have given six real-world professional sample simulations that define the Metaverse as the new corporate standard. Therefore, my article outlines the architecture and revenue potential of a training ecosystem where the risks are virtual, but the mastery and the profit are real.
