Discusses how psychological growth is essential for a stable, tech-driven future, indicating social harmony depends on it.
Techno-futurist visions, prominently articulated by Elon Musk and others, predict a near future where artificial intelligence and robotics will eliminate the necessity for human labor and even render money obsolete in a post-scarcity economy. These projections assume that highly autonomous technological systems can sustain civilization independent of human behavioral limitations. This paper argues that such predictions overlook a critical variable: the psychological maturity of humanity. Historical patterns, cognitive science, and socio-political realities indicate that systems—no matter how technologically advanced—cannot remain stable when operated, influenced, or governed by psychologically underdeveloped minds driven by narrow self-interest, power impulses, belief conditioning, and emotional dominance. The paper proposes that without systematic mind development education, technological abundance will not lead to social harmony but may instead magnify existing human conflicts. The MahaManan framework of correct mind development education is presented as the missing foundational requirement for any viable post-scarcity future.
