Gender specificity of the linguoaxiosphere in masculine sports chess discourse (based on live internet broadcasts)

This study is dedicated to identifying gender-specific characteristics of the linguoaxiosphere based on the material of masculine chess discourse. The aim of the research is to uncover the gender specificity in the content of the elements of the linguoaxiosphere, a fragment of which is formed in masculine sports chess discourse. The object of the study is sports chess discourse. The subject of the research is the gender aspect of the linguoaxiosphere, a fragment of which is reflected in masculine sports chess discourse. The relevance lies in the fact that under the conditions of multidisciplinary modern science and the dominance of the anthropocentric paradigm, the research interest in studying the mechanisms of the formation and expression of value hierarchy in language is growing. The linguistic axiology method is an important tool for analyzing the processes of forming evaluative meanings that reflect worldview and social attitudes. Furthermore, chess discourse, combining intellectuality, strategic thinking, and cultural symbolism, makes the study of the embedded system of values particularly important for understanding how sports discourse participates in the generation and transmission of socially significant meanings. Additionally, the study of gender-specific representation of values allows for the identification of how axiological dominants are structured depending on the gender affiliation of discourse participants. The main methods of this work include the method of linguistic axiological interpretation, discourse analysis, as well as quantitative methods and statistical data processing methods. The novelty of this work lies in the combination of three promising research approaches: linguistic axiological, gender, and discursive for analyzing sports discourse. An integrative model is created to study how fragments of the linguistic axiology sphere are influenced by gender identity in the context of sports communication. Conclusions: a three-level model is created visualizing the gender-marked fragment of the linguistic axiology sphere reflected in masculine sports chess discourse. At the core level, there are axiological dominants such as "professionalism and quality of play," "competitiveness," "material component and personal brand," "aesthetics and creativity in play." The pre-core zone contains axiological dominants "atmosphere of positivity and entertainment," "community/interaction with the audience," "honesty/integrity," "self-improvement." On the periphery, "pragmatism/effectiveness," "respect for opponents," "control/overcoming difficulties," "emotional well-being/psychological comfort" are noted.
