This work investigates structural conditions in constrained refinement, suggesting foundational implications for future theories.
This work investigates the minimal structural conditions under whichconstrained refinement can support non-trivial organization. Rather thanintroducing axioms or formal models, we adopt a pre-axiomatic approach:possible structural features are examined one by one, and those that leadto collapse or trivialization are rejected. The result is a list of structuralnecessities that any viable theory of constrained refinement must satisfy.
