This article develops a framework to evaluate consulting quality in organizations, indicating a need for structured assessment.
Despite the growing reliance on management consultants in strategic decision-making, there remains a lack of coherent, actionable frameworks for evaluating the quality of consulting interventions. This article operationalises the Triple R (3Rs) Framework - Research, Recommendations, and Rational - as a conceptual model that encapsulates the minimal but essential criteria of high-impact consulting practice (Kamel, 2025). Drawing on practitioner experience, case insights, and synthesis of consulting scholarship, the framework is advanced as both a diagnostic and prescriptive tool. It is argued that the 3Rs enable clearer assessment of consultant value, bridge the gap between theory and application, and respond to growing calls for transparency, rigor, and logic in managerial decision support.
