Abstract Haemangioma is the most common benign tumour that develops from blood vessels in the maxillofacial region. It is primarily categorised into two types: capillary and cavernous, depending on the vascular architecture. Despite being non-cancerous and generally exhibiting benign behaviour, it is clinically significant for dental professionals and necessitates appropriate treatment, as it may lead to early or continuous loss of function or lifetime aesthetic impairment. The treatment plan for haemangiomas must consider the size of the lesion, position, haemodynamics, patient’s age and feasibility of the procedures to be used. A case of a 49-year-old female patient presented with haemangioma on the left lateral aspect of the nose in the mid-face region along with clinical characteristics, and the methods for diagnosing these lesions with possible treatment strategies are reported here.
