Key Points

  • The aim is to prove the uniform bounding of the degrees of freedom in the moduli space of complementary structures based on the symmetry group.
  • Defined the moduli space M(G, n) with fixed symmetry group G.
  • Proved that the real dimension of M(G, n) is bounded by a constant C(G).
  • Established relationships between conjugacy classes, involutions, and dimensions.
  • Demonstrated that the essential structure is determined by C(G) independent continuous parameters.
  • Found that C(G) depends only on the group G and not on the size of the base set n.
  • Provided a specific formula for C(G) involving the number of conjugacy classes and distinguished involutions.

Abstract

Let G be a finite group and let n = |X| be the size of the base set. We study the moduli space M (G, n) of complementary tructures with fixed symmetry group G. We prove that the real dimension of M (G, n) is uniformly bounded by a constant C(G) that depends only on G and not on n. Specifically, C(G) = s(G) + 1/2 r(r + 1) − 1, where s(G) is the number of conjugacy classes of subgroups of G and r is the number of distinguished involutions. This establishes a fundamental rigidity: despite the fact that the number of elements n can grow arbitrarily, the essential structure is determined by only C(G) independent continuous parameters.
