SafeHabitus Deliverable 2.1 Baseline Monitoring and Evaluation Report of SafeHabitus Farm Safety Communities of Practice

Deliverable D2.1 Baseline monitoring and evaluation report’ provides an overview of the creation of the SafeHabitus Community of Practices (CoPs) established in 11 different EU Member States and a preliminary assessment of the composition of the CoPs and the knowledge, beliefs and attitudes of CoP participants relating to farm safety and farmer health. The objectives of monitoring and evaluating the CoPs within the SafeHabitus project are to:• Assess how knowledge exchange, through a multi-actor approach (MAA), supports the development of the farm health and safety knowledge and innovation system (FHS KIS);• Identify how the CoP structures add value to their members over time in terms of acquisition of skills and knowledge, or other learning and networking opportunities generated by the CoP;• Assess how they have applied these skills and experiences to support improved farm safety or farmer health and wellbeing;• Demonstrate the potential and challenges associated with social innovation (SI) processes that aim to contribute to farm safety or to farmers’ health and wellbeing. This report presents an overview of the CoPs in terms of their creation, governance, composition (age and gender), geographic focus, composition, and initial work.
