This framework tests new predictions in quantum field theory using structured information operators, implying measurable effects in quantum systems.
Structured Information Field Dynamics (SIFD) is a minimal, experimentally testable extension of quantum field theory in which real scalar fields couple to operationally defined structured information operators. Unlike standard quantum mechanics, which treats information as descriptive bookkeeping, SIFD treats persistent, structured information as a physically real, dynamical quantity. The framework introduces scalar fields C_i(x) interacting with Hermitian operators O_info(x) that capture coarse-grained, stable properties of quantum systems. The resulting equations extend standard QFT while reducing exactly to it in the limit of vanishing couplings. SIFD provides concrete predictions for laboratory systems, including superconducting qubits, photonic lattices, and mesoscopic coherent devices. This framework is conservative: It does not modify the Born rule, propose a collapse mechanism, or rely on subjective experience. Experiments that do not observe the predicted effects constrain or rule out the proposed interactions.
