Sequential Time Theory: Metrological Completion of Relativity

TKTeruhito Kojima

Key Points

  • This research aims to redefine time as a measurable quantity through operational procedures instead of traditional coordinate systems.
  • Developed Sequential Time Theory (STT) framework for time measurement.
  • Defined time mathematically with Δτ(n)=n k ΔQ_unit.
  • Analyzed implications of STT for spacetime geometry and underlying physical assumptions.
  • Compared quantum-gravity routes using Θ-auditing.
  • STT allows for optional block-universe interpretations of time.
  • Classical mechanics and quantum mechanics interconnected via STT principles.
  • Derivations show Gaussian diffusion as a result of sequential assumptions.

Abstract

Sequential Time Theory (STT) defines time as a metrological quantity realized by operational procedures (record, count, resolution) rather than as a coordinate axis. Starting from the primitive definition Δτ (n) =n k ΔQᵤnit, STT internalizes time metrology (L2) and treats spacetime geometry (L1) as a representation of protocol constraints, rendering block-universe interpretations optional rather than required for derivations. Physics is reframed as STT-Core + Bridge axioms + Θₛys, where Θₛys is an explicit, auditable bundle of system-specific auxiliary assumptions. Within this scheme, SR/GR arise as representation theorems for defect-free/defect-bearing clock networks, QM interference is treated as measurable U (1) phase holonomy, Gaussian diffusion is derived from minimal sequential assumptions, and quantum-gravity routes are compared by Θ-auditing.
